History/Personality :: Yami was born of the Shadow clan, a band of swordsman teaching their art to future generations. He was very disciplined as a child and obeyed his parents. During a full moon night when Yami was thirteen he was attacked in his sleep by a spirit of pure wickedness. Fighting the yokai in his nightmare, the boy was overwhelmed and the demon took hindrance in his body. The same night the 'possessed' boy assassinated his grandfather the grandmaster of the clan in cold blood. After the possession Yami was terrified of what he seen. His grandfather dead with no memory of himself enacting the murder. The following morning, his father the master of the clan unable to execute his son for his treachery could not find himself to do so. Instead he was banished from the clan and forced into exile. Now a wandering ronin with no eligible master Yami traveled from location to location, discovering adventure, worthy and unworthy adversaries and his presence producing stories of chaos within communities or teaching others the ways of his former clan. From place to place he became known as the Shadow Ronin because of the darkness he unveiled to everything around him. Kage became his alias and inner counterpart. He became known as the night wanderer or warrior of the night. The shadows themselves danced at his feet. Legends were told and Yami brought terror into the hearts of men.
Personality wise Yami is solemn, stern, quiet, keeps to himself. Almost always serious although Yami has some good in him you would not notice from his outer rigid appearance. He rarely shows emotion and when he does he acts to the best of his ability. Yami never shares his feelings and for that reason isn't very capable of forming friendships or relationships. A loner to the fullest, Yami seeks a purpose to fill his empty soul. However he feels he is destined to be an aimless wanderer until his number is called.

Weapon Information :: The twin functional katanas features a sharpened carbon steel blade with etched red flame symbol and a real hamon line. The handle features a cast metal tsuba and end cap and ray skin grip with black leather wrap. The scabbard is wood with a black finish and carved shadow-like designs.

The yumi is incredibly tall, standing over two meters, and surpassing the height of Yami. Traditionally made by laminating bamboo, wood and leather, using techniques which have not altered for centuries. The world's largest bow equipped with ten arrows.

Peak human physical condition - Yami's bodily functions are to the pinnacle of human conditioning; therefore, his strength, speed, stamina, senses, agility, reflexes, accuracy, longevity, durability, intelligence, healing time, flexibility and combat skills are greatly heightened, but without any superhuman level. He is superior over Olympic-Level athletes and normal men. Strong enough to punch an individual through a wooden/thin metal door, break thin steel bars with his bare hands, fast enough to catch-up to moving vehicles, he can also exert himself to peak capacity; therefore, eliminating build-up fatigue chemicals, producing top-endurance and lung capacity; agile enough to climb the tallest of buildings, leap to high feats into the air and distant yards; reflexive enough to quickly avoid incoming attacks and react better to fast motions, accurate enough to achieve several small and further distant targets, capable of living longer than the average-person, durable enough to withstand normal and superhuman physical/projectile attacks, intelligent enough to understand complex problems better than average man. He can also heal in short-periods of time, flexible enough to co-ordinate his limbs perfectly and combat skills are advanced enough to defeat large groups of enemies.

Shadow Manipulation - Yami can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows when in distress, awakening the yokai that dwells within his soul. The entity by itself, uses the darkness to cloud everything into total darkness, hosting a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: Yami can also control and create sentient shadow beings that eat away ät the spiritual health of an opponent, causing them an uneasy feeling as it chips away at their life force. With the shadows he can dispel shields and areas of total darkness, which can cause feeble minds to go insane. With this darkness Yami possessed can create constructs and weapons.
Evil Darkness - The user has the power to create corrupted and evil darkness which is generated by the depravity and cruel nature of the Kage, the supernatural yokai entity possessing Yami. The demon takes a joy of tormenting his enemies with evil darkness.
Kage Inu Yokai Transformation - In this form Yami becomes a hybrid between a man and a shadow dog yokai. His appearance changes as his physical condition is given a great boost from the norm. He grows black dog ears and a bushy tail, as well as fur on his forearms, chest and other selected areas. While his eyes morph into a complete white to gray. A substantial amount of energy must be utilized to take this form and Yami will most likely become tired after its use. However in this demon form all existing abilities increase in power.
