Hey, how are you?
Me? Oh I'm fine, it's been a long time since I last talked to you. I really missed you. But I know you've been busy with your new life, so I understand. I don't want to bother you too much. I just really missed you, so much that it made me cry when I finally heard from you again because I'd blocked out just how bad the pain was. But really, don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'll stop hurting soon, you're so busy that I'll numb up again in no time. I really do understand though, so seriously don't worry, having a kid is important. Being there for the kid is even more important, so I don't mind. I promise. I just have one question.
Only one and then I'll leave you alone.
Is it foolish of me to hope so badly that you still care as much about me as I do for you?
