I pulled against the shackles till it seemed I couldn't pull anymore. Then I felt the pull of energy. That pull that told me my dear sweet Asher still had to be alive. .. after all , very rarely did a human servant live after the death of her master. That's how great the bond was.
Then I noticed him. He noticed me.. My lights went .. out/
I woke up again an hour later with a twinge in my cheek, I growled deep in my throat then rubbed my unbound wrists. I looked about and noticed I was on a bed,
A bed of cotton blue jersey. So different from the crimson silk I was accustom to with my golden finch. Glancing down I noticed a blue vest against my chest.
It itched and I soon relised why. A slight pool of blood came up through the vest showing me that I was injured.. Not that I would be feeling it for long. That's why it itched, heeling itched
Being able to live longer had to have it's disadvantages. My ears perked as I hear a glass tinker against a silver platter.
Staring at me was a beast of a man. Now don't get me wrong, he was beautiful but that made it worse. He had blonde hair that wasn't quite as golden as my loves. His eyes were a forest green that were too yellow to look like deep pine. And too dark to look like a maple leaf. He was taller than me but most modern men seemed to be and he had that "swimmer body" you know like a buddist monk only slightly less etched.
Batting my eyelashes sweetly I groanded," What have you done to me?"
His voice was low like a werecat that had stayed in coat too long," I am merly playing with you ,pathetic human"
I laughed as the hard box of my shoe connecter to his jaw and without a second thought he was under me with his hands above his head pinned by a five foot two malnurished not quite human girl.
I sniffed up his neck then panted in his ear,"Who ever said I was just human wanted you dead." As I licked his cheek he gave a delightful shiver that corsed through my body. I hadn't hunter in years.. and few at court knew I was more than a pretty face. More than a good bed partner who gave blood. " And I may just give them their wish."
Listening to the man's pulse increase was like feeding an addict speed. I shook my head and got back to the business at hand. I glared at him till he spoke.
" I am Gren and no one sent me " He hissed as he attempted to n** at my neck.
"You speak lies , wolf, Lies I do not have the time to tollerate."
He laughed then breathed a forest smell against my cheek," You are more than man but your not one of my kind. It looks like I've caught something important for the kiss tonight."
I brought my nails to his neck," You caught nothing, and the kiss would wish you worse than death if you gave me to them. They'd die, you'd die and I'd be in bliss."
Kissing him I lost my mind and found his. Searching for reasons Searching for why
