She was trembling as tears welled up in her eyes, the saltiness stung them as she squeezed them shut. Derrik had his back turned to her, head low, and arms at his sides, She finally got the courage to move, whipping her eyes, the right then the left with the sleeve of her favorite navy blue shirt. Her heart was swelled in pain, he was her friend, she had though messed up, big time. She wanted to scream, but she couldn't ever raise her voice at him.
"Fine... If that's the way it must be.." She finally replied softly, her words where gentle, and broken.
Her nose started to run, her ears where warm and red as well, she could never hide how she felt, but she never wanted him to see her cry. Victoria turned around, head low, with her auburn hair covering part of her delicate face.
"I'll never trouble you again.."
With that she walked out the door, and glanced back at him, hoping he'd stop her, but there he stood. She finally closed the door after barely silencing a sob, a hand over her mouth as the tears started to flow freely from her beautiful emerald eyes.
