I'm falling for you.
A small group literate roleplay.
Story: Once upon a time, in a land far, far away their lived a handsome and wealthy lord, who lived with his beautiful wife. Together they lived a peaceful, and happy life. And despite their marriage being arranged they lived one another very much. That is until war broke out in the kingdom of which they lived, and the wealthy lord was sent out as an ambassador to try and make peace. And with a tearful goodbye the two had to part. But days passed turning to weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned to years, his wife waited patiently for her husbands return. Bearing a son to the rich lord in his absence. Only to at last receive a letter stating that he had never arrived at the foreign land, and it was feared that the ship he was traveling in sank. And that it was feared that he had died. The poor woman was so distraught, that she became severely depressed and commuted suicide. Her body was found by her young five year old son the next morning.
The lord's son, then inherited his enormous wealth, and took his fathers place. Unfortunately, because of his horrifying experience he emotionally distanced himself from everyone. Including the woman he was arranged to marry. The woman he was to marry found herself starved for affection, and began to have an affair with Alger body guard. Once this was found out the wealthy lords son became, angry, bitter and cruel. He immediately broke off the engagement, and made his faience and her family penny less. The young lord became mistrusting of everyone, and forbid any woman to work at his mansion. And soon after he fired his male staff as well keeping only one elderly butler at his side. He closed himself off from the rest of the world, slowing the vines to take over the walls of his mansion, becoming a recluse.
That is until one day a half dead woman was found at his doorstep, and his kindly butler allowed the poor half dear inside, despite his cruel masters orders he nursed the woman back to health. And this is were our story begins. The woman who was rescued by the butler has just awakened. And the young lord, has cruelly insisted that she pay him for the time that she had stayed in his home. Having no money on her personage, she then makes a deal with him to work at his home as a maid. But the more time she spends there, the more he finds himself enjoying her company despite himself. Is this the beginnings of love? Will the young lord's icy heart finally melt away? We'll just have to wait and see.
Characters:
The young lord:
Gender- Male Age- 25+
His father died during a mission of peace, his mother committed suicide when he was young, and his fiencee cheated on him with his body guard. So in a word, he's a rather bitter and twisted soul. There is only one person he trusts left in this world and that is the kindly butler, who he knew as a young lad. At first he's a cold and is rather cruel towards his young mysterious guest....

The kindly old butler:
Gender- Male Age- 40+
He has served the young Lord and his family for years. And he's gotten rather attached to the young lord treating him as if the young lied was his own flesh and blood. He was saddened to find the youth after, the young lord found his dead mother. And faithfully stayed beside the young lord through all of his trials and troubles. When he found a half dead woman at his masters doorstep, he couldn't help himself but to disobey his master's orders to save her. Perhaps this strange mysterious woman will be able to unfreeze his masters heart.

The kindly butler's wife:
Gender- Female Age- 30+
Ahh! Her poor over worked husband! He doesn't get a single day off thanks to that spoiled rotten brat! In fact she is scarcely are able to see her husband anymore! And when was the last time that she and her beloved husband have been able to twist the sheets of their bed? ( If you know what I mean). So, she's a tad frustrated, and in general dislikes the young lord. However, a young half dead woman was found on the lord's doorstep, and to her surprise she was asked to help care for the other woman. How wonderful! She sees this woman as the perfect opportunity to take back her husband, by playing Cupid for these two..

Gender-Female Age- 21
Just who exactly is this woman? This beauty who was found half dead on the young lords doorstep? Oh, well that doesn't matter anymore. All that matters now is that she is in debt to a very cruel man, and has been forced to become his maid. But that's alright, she has survived through far worse. All she has to do is hold her temper, and wait until her time to serve him is up. And then she can be on her merry way. She can do this.. Can't she?

T H E X B A S I C S
- You all should know this. Gaia has it's own set of rules on role playing as well as site use in general. Please look at them if you haven't already done so. It's the fair thing to do guys. Now, swearing. Yep, I allow it. Just keep it down because of the kiddies. This is supposed to be a longer term, dark themed role play so please don't bring in this light, colorful theme unless it's appropriate and don't disappear on me before things even start rolling. Another note. Please hang around the o.o.c. Updates are there and all the people behind the characters. Planning is a beautiful thing and then we can know when you're going places or not going to be online. Clever isn't it? I think so.
V I O L E N C E X && X R O M A N C E
- Well, what do you think? Of course both are expected. Pff, I shouldn't even have to say it. There are limits though. Example, little Jo and Jane are starting to get wild, if you know what I mean... They're sleeping together! There, I said it. Either way; once things start getting heavy, I, and everyone else, will be looking for that time skip. Okay? That's the romance aspect of it. As for violence... well, I expect killing or fights at least. Don't be afraid to get each other bloody, but don't be dumb about it. That means, no auto-hitting. Not everyone is perfect in a fight. Take a hit, give a hit, and everything in between. You can use the o.o.c. or PM system to talk it over with your partner in the fight to decide what happens.
B E A U T I F U L X P O S T I N G
- Just as the title suggests. I want pretty posting styles. They must have color, at least one picture, and anything else you deem important enough. Dull is so last... century guys. These are colorful characters. There's nothing dull about them. Posting length? What do you think? I'm not going to push a minimum... too hard, because sometimes it's just too hard to respond with something lengthy. I want something that will take a bit of time to read though... actually, I want advance lit. if possible but even I know I won't want to push myself that hard. So, this is what I'm going to say. Post at least four hundred words a post, but I will be looking for more. Does that sound fair?
