Don’t just follow the crowd, a fad, advocate or whatnot just because it’s the most popular thing to do. It’s important to ask questions, to research (investigate) and read from each perspective. Once that is done it is THEN that you decide what it is you want to do, if you actually agree that following the crowd is the right way. Or if there’s better options out there. I’m just so tired of people automatically taking part of an issue without looking deeper into it.
Would you join a charity that says they help tsunami victims just because their emotional/inspiring video makes it seem that they do? Would you side with a crowd of people saying that a man is a murderer without actually looking into it? Would you download a program just because it seems like it’ll protect and improve your computer? No, you wouldn’t and shouldn’t. For all you know that charity could be a scam and the use of a real issue makes them successful in tricking people. And that man could actually be innocent and downloading that program could be a virus. But if you don’t ask questions, don’t look further into an issue then you’ll put yourself in danger/make yourself look like a fool.
Knowledge is very important! Educate yourself and do not be so quick to take things at face value. The world isn’t all black and white, that is why you need to stay inform, research, ask questions and consider the pros and cons before joining in a cause or taking sides on an issue. That is the only way you’ll be able to know for sure what is right and what is wrong.
