Talking with a lawyer friend over some bottles of wine, I found out that this country's drug laws are ******** stupid. They don't have classifications and scheduling for different types of drugs. Cannabis, hallucinogens, and narcotics are all lumped into one category: "Dangerous" Drugs. The only dangerous drugs are narcotics. The rest doesn't deserve such harsh penalty. Dealing gets you life imprisonment, while simply possessing it gets you 20-40 years plus huge fines. That is stupid and ignorant.
I blame the internet for making me learn about the existence and wonders of psychedelic substances and changing my views of drugs (the good ones). But with what I learned from that talk last night, I feel as if I've lost all hope to search for psychedelics in fear of the consequences of breaking the [stupid] law. I guess I would have been much happier if I remained ignorant to all of this and became one of the sheep.
