The wind slowly churned, and the rain banged against the window. It was dark outside, but it was one of the brightest mornings her town ever had. At least, that's what she thought. Whenever it was actually bright outside, Jade was always huddled up on her bed listening to music by Owl City. Jade says that without Owl City, her life would be boring as heck. Jade's mom pulled the covers off of her. Jade groaned. Her jet black hair was in knots. ''What, Mom." She asked. Jade's mom sat next to her on the bed. "Get up, sleepyhead. Your still seventeen. When your eighteen, now that's when you can do what you want. W-wait a minute! Jade, are those RED highlights, young lady!?" Again, Jade groaned. She threw her pillow on top of her face. "It's just hair, Mom!" Jade said, her voice muffled by the pillow. Jade's mom shook her head dissaprovingly, and looked back as she shut the door behind her. "You know what mom, fine. You can control me until I'm eighteen. But that's it." Jade muttered. If you guys want more story to this.. then I need two comments more.
