I started off the day with SAT's from 7:30 to 1:30. That test was a tedious pain in my rear. With nine sections being multiple choice and one section being an essay, I was left without energy for the rest of the day. Before returning home, my Mother and I ran some errands and bought starbucks to relax.
Mother told me her plans for the evening and that I had to babysit a little six year old girl. We were at the house then, waiting for Alan's family to arrive because we were taking them also to my grandma's house to babysit. Alan is an ex boyfriend of mine BUT we never have any awkward moments and we're almost connected at the hip now. He's amazing for being so mature.
At my grandma's house we met the girl- Teddie- and we kept watch on her from 4 to 9 pm. Alan restrung my guitar and as soon as we got home, we started lessons. It was my first lesson and I learned a lot from it. I know four chords and I can play the beginning of a song. He also explained tabs to me and the convenience of them.
I practiced for about an hour- which he thought was amazing because everyone he has taught so far complained after the first five minutes because of the pain. This morning I kinda picked it up again and played for about 30 minutes. NOW my fingers are kinda hurting. I decided to type to mesh the pain into my fingers so I can get used to it and start playing again.
We're planning to have more lessons and I'm excited for all of them. Maybe this will be my escape from everything...
