Blood Red
The moon is big and bright
I can see it from my room,
It calls my name and I try
not to answer back,
It gets louder and brighter
It makes me moan and groan,
I look towards my window
And see it looming before me,
I wearily get out of bed
And close the blinds tightly,
I flop back onto my bed
And turn my back to it,
A tingly feeling crawls up my
Back and makes me shudder,
Drops of sweat bead across my
Forehead and drip down my face,
I bolt upright panting and
Gasping for breath,
I can no longer take it,
I walk over to the window
And pull the blinds open,
The moon is smirking at me,
I unlock the window and
Slide it open,
I climb out and stand there viewing
The forest beyond my backyard,
I walk forward exposing myself
To the moon's rays,
I start to tremble and my
Head feels hot and cold
At the same time,
My vision blurs and a shrill ringing
Is the only noise i hear,
I fall to my knees and
Hold on to the ground hoping
The spinning will soon stop,
I can feel the bones all over my body
Starting to move about,
My ears shift to the top of
My head and grow to a furry point,
My finger nails turn black
And sharp and long,
The bones in my face grow and grow
Until I have a long snout,
My small human tailbone stretches
Out nearly three feet,
An electrifing shock courses throughout my
Body then disappears leaving
Behind a fuzzy feeling,
It grows more intense then stops,
Fur pokes out of my skin
And covers my entire body
In a matter of seconds,
I shake my head releasing
The extra fur,
I'm finally done with thetransformation,
If anyone saw me they would
Be terrifyed,
My fangs are lethal, My
claws sharp, My mind set to kill,
But if they looked past the brown fur,
White fangs, and black claws into
My deep emerald eyes,
They would know the pain I have,
The pain the full moon
Brings me,
I raise my wolf head and howl my rage
To the moon,
The moon that is big and bright,
The moon that is full,
The moon that is
Blood Red.
