My sorrow builds up as I fall down,
Why must the world be so cruel?
Every raise of joy,
Crumbled under my weak foundation.
It is not I who finds it,
But rather it finds me.
Oh, what a rare occasion,
Can thou show me love?
What I would give to know the feeling,
The sound,
The sight,
Even the taste and the smell,
I would embrace with what I so faintly know.
Would thou hold out your hand,
To guide me with care?
Would thou be so gentle with my soul,
So gentle as the sleep that clouds my mind?
Perhaps my dreams are unreal,
Nevertheless they are more unfeigned than life as we know it.
And so I search,
For that one.
The one who holds out his hand,
The one who carries me on my cloud,
The one who teaches me what love is,
The one who encompasses,
The feeling within.
