This is Ruko, Rin's fairy. Her's is red because its a dark hylian fairy. Dark hylian fairies are always red, normal fairies from Hyrule are blue. For example, Navi

Shadow pov (flashback)
Okay so I'm with Ruko lost and trying to bring her back to Rin-chan,
"Shadow, Shadow, Shadow, Shadow?!" Ruko said flying around me, "Hurry up, Hurry up, i want to go see Rin!"
I didn't even respond to Ruko, i just tried to ignore her,
"HEY, are you listening to me, Shadow? HEY LISTEN, HEY!!"
"RUKO SHUT THE ******** UP!!" I screamed at Ruko,
she flew right in front of my face and then i stopped walking,
"EXCUSE ME?!" she said, "YOU DON'T TALK LIKE THAT TO A GIRL,"
My face burnt on fire,
"I REALLY DON'T ******** CARE!"
"Well, you should..."
I took my hat and wacked Ruko, causing her to be parallized for 2 seconds. I picked up Ruko who's wings were twitching. I decided to tie her wings up and throw her in my hat to keep it quiet.
"Ahh, much better," i said in relief, and walked away whistling.
(Present)
"That was why, Ruko, was in my hat," i said all relaxed at Rin,
Rin's right eye was twitching, she also had an evil grin on her face, and her hand clenched into a fist.
"Shadow?" she said smilling, "I AM GONNA KILL YOU FOR RUKO ABUSE!"
My eyes popped out, then Rin got up,
"I'm gonna give you 2 seconds to say you're sorry or i'll tell Lin and kill you,"
i got up in a snap, "I-Im sorry!!"
"Thanx Shadow, but,"
b-b-but what?! i thought
"but, IM STILL GONNA KILL YOU!!!"
