But earlier Kalya had a Danger Flash. Which is when she blinks and it turns red. It means something bad is gonna happen. Before when it happened, something did happen. Her parents divorced. But this Flash was big! But today was her Birthday so she thought it was wrong for once. But she was wrong.
Tonight, Mother was going to read a Story called Magic Shards.

Mother walked in after supper. The children were tucked in. Mother began to read. After 10 minutes, Mother had gotten to the part where

Adlen was so feared that no one came to try and fight him. So he wanted a challenge. He put a spell on the children, which gave the little boy more strength and the power to grow and shrink. The girl, he gave more speed and the power to speak to animals.

Kayla didn't know what happened next, because she flashed so big, she passed out.
