A cold dark night she walked along the road. A silent starry sky that would unyeildingly grant her old memories. How they burned into her skull. How she fought away the thoughts. What about thinking of something else? Something more serious? So she focused on death. "The worst would be drowning." She thought as her foot kicked gravel out onto the road. "Not the choking sensation or the lack of oxygen. It would be the swelling after death. Your body would take in water." She nodded to herself and glanced at the brooding trees. Her paranoia started to kick in. "What about being decapitated? That would be like living in 'Alice in Wonderland'. I would be killed quite easily since I hate authority. The queen would lop it off right at our meeting." She giggled at the thought as her mind swept her into Wonderland. She shook her head and refocused on death. "Buried alive? Well I like dark small spaces so that wouldn't bother me. Not being found would make me disgruntled." A lone car whizzed by as she stepped onto a sidewalk. "Burning? That would save money since I want to be cremated anyways. That made her laugh at herself. No she wasn't morbid. She was logical and realistic. So why was her paranoia making her so illogical now? No one was following her and no one could possibly be in the woods. There were briars and vines so there was no place for someone to jump out at her. They wouldn't be able to walk! Her mind wondered to the future. "I am going to die alone." Well this is true. The main character I have narrated for is going to die alone. It will also be a slow painful death. Why all this death? Well the story that leads to the death is the main picture.
