The students filed out of the lecture hall, some lingering as long as they could before Miss Turry glared at them and shouted, "Out!"
Nakuya's head was bent down, arms at her side. Her chest heaved up and down from her frantic, deeps breaths.
"Nakuya, what's wrong?" Miss Turry probed.
Nakuya held out her hand, "Come with me, I'll show you," she choked out her words.
Nakuya lead and Miss Turry followed as she scurried throughout the academy's corredors. Students watched the unseemly pair with curiosity, it was known throughout the school that Miss Turry and Nakuya were always at odd ends with each other. To see the two together without a quarrel was a rare sight.
They stopped infront of a tapestry at the end of the west hall, very few used this wing because it was so old. There was a picture of a a young woman with light amber eyes and blande hair sitting with a globe in her right hand and a sword in her left, along the bottom of the tapestry were five golden words woven into the piece of artwork, 'The Eyes speak the Truth.' Nakuya pushed three of the letters SEE. There was a quiet tremor through the wall right before a narrow part of it swung open.
"She's inside here," Nakuya whispered as she pointed into the dark opening, "Jerri and I use this hallway as a short cut..."
Naku pulled out a flashlight from her satchel and entered the dark pathway, Miss Turry followed her. They walked for five minutes until they came in a large room lit with a few latern-style fixtures on the wall. Infront of them was a brunette girl, green eyes glazed over, body stiff and lips pale, suspended by rope knotted around her wrists that hung from the ceiling. Miss Turry fell to the floor and screamed. Nakuya stumbled backward, "It's real, isn't it? It isn't in my head. She really is dead... Jerri is dead."
