Loving you for Eternity
Know this, when we met, I made a decision, to take my heart and give it to you. Know this, I continue to make a decision, to give my heart to you for eternity. It’s yours now, do what you will with it. Hold it like glass, loving it, protecting it. Or break it into pieces, drop it upon the ground and turn away. Anything you desire with it, as it is yours. Know this, from when we met, to now, to the end of all ends. My heart is yours, and I love you. Then, now and for eternity.

For many years in his teenage life he had gone to the bar to watch a young singer sing on the stage. Every day he that he wasn’t there in the crowed he’d give the singer a single rose with a hand made card with a butterfly on front. With nice handwriting on the back of the card it would always say ‘Good luck my beautiful butterfly’. He loved to hear the voice of his admired, it melted his soul. One night he had recorded and sent it in the very next day to a music company. Though never would he have guessed that the music company would have given her a job opportunity that she couldn’t turn down. It tore him to pieces to watch her go, though he knew she would be big some day.
He would see her from afar, but she wouldn’t notice him. He hated this hunger for her that he felt, this complete emptiness of not having her. Though now he was one out of a thousand of her fans. It took him almost a year to track her down so he could send her a single rose and a card. Though he made sure she wouldn’t be able to track him down. He had to save up for her concerts as the tickets weren’t cheep. Regardless of his health problems and ignoring the doctors plea of getting his surgeries he worked hard to keep up his small apartment and saving up for her concerts when he could go to them. He had the opportunity to go to one when she was two cities away from the small town she started out in. He jumped at the chance. Ray had sent in a huge bouquet of roeses . The manager gave a slight nod to the delivery man who had strict orders from the sender to ask where she was and give it directly to her. “Yes… she’s right over there.” the manager said as she pointed towards her. The man walked over as he placed it down as he pulled out a sheet of paper. “Could you please sign this…” he said as he pointed at the dotted line. Other young female artists looked at her, not understanding to why she always received these bouquet of flowers and showers of roses each time she sang. On many levels they envied her. “who’s it from?” asked one of her dancers as she looked at the card flipping it this way and that hoping to find some sort of clue.
Roy made his way to his seat as he slowly sat down his eyes on the stage. His heart racing as he couldn’t believe he was here after so many years of not hearing her sing. Sure he bought all her songs but nothing could compare to hearing her sing in real life. It would be nice to see her again as well. He sat there patiently awaiting for her and her crew to show up on stage. It wasn’t hard not to notice as the crowed went wiled as they screamed out her name and started to cheer for her. He came to a stand so he could see over the thousands of people. “Come on my beautiful butterfly… spread your wings and fly.” he whispered out as he placed his hand over his heart as if to try to calm it down.
