What do you do when someone you have considered one of your best friends, suddenly goes, "I need a good friend."
Do you assume that she doesn't appreciate you like you thought she did?
Or do you think that she just worded it awkwardly and doesn't mean that you aren't a good friend.
I've never asked to be anyone's best friend. I just want to be a good one, a good person that someone can lean on and trust. Someone that can give advice, give their opinion on what they honestly feel, without being told that they don't understand.
Maybe I do understand more than they think.
Is it that I'm not cut out to be a good friend? Am I not a good enough person? What do I have to fix, to make it right?
It's just been something that's bothering me.
