my tears pour down
on a rainy day
wiping away happiness and joy at bay
the tears stain the rainbow
and the colors run dry
the only thing left
is a dull blackened sky
eyes thick with water
as clouds pass on though
my whole life of happiness
is drowned with thoughts of you
