Well, what made you, you?
Aiko lived in a large family, that was slaughter by a band of traveling Oni when she was 12 years old. The young kitsune was very skilled with controlling fire, so she defended her self well. Taking refuge in the bath house many years later, she was taken in by the manager of the tea house there, an elderly Inugami (dog demon). He let her live with him and often told her stories about how the humans he lived with in the past were good, and very much like them. They were just often foolish and too quick to judgment. Aiko soon developed a strong curiosity with the species, but was shunned by her fellow demons for thinking so.
She worked under the Inugami for 100 more years until he passed away from sickness in his sleep. Now, her manager is a drunkard Hibgon (japanese big foot). She still lives in the old man's room, but she rarely has company now since the majority of demons find her repulsive.
