Here's a short little tutorial for those of you who don't understand how to properly use a keyboard. These are just some of my pet peeves when it comes to illiteracy.
First of all........ quit using a million dots when you're trying to demonstrate a pause. And ellipsis is three dots, not twenty. It looks like this ---> ... <--- You press the period button (which is located in the bottom right corner of the keyboard right above the Alt key) three times. Can you count? Okay. No excuse for you to screw it up.
Secondly, learn to use the Shift key. Reading sentences with no capital letters, especially when those sentences have names or titles in them, is most disorienting. To activate the capital letters, hold the Shift key and push a letter key simultaneously. And voila! Capital letters. If you are not sure when and where to use capital letters, consult an elementary school teacher.
And, for the love of God, do not type as if you were texting someone. It makes you come across as an uneducated moron and you definitely won't be taken seriously by anyone but other illiterate morons. Lyk, OMG ur soooo mean!!! wut if ppl rly cant spell?????
stressed
If that's the case, you can still make an effort to not be a lazy slob. There's a nifty little website called Dictionary.com and you would do well to use it.
