Dear dear Diary,

I would assume that normal people would write their amazing adventures (possibly over the last few days) in their dairies, or maybe in that little gap of time between action and action. When I read those dairy-stories, I am always left amazed at:

-->how often, these diarist are from the lower ranks of society, and which their time period they would 99.9999% (maybe that's a bit exaggerative but...) have not learnt to read, let alone to write

-->how they can find time in the mid of great catastrophes to write their daily happenings

-->the astounding amount these people can write in one sitting, and how they can remember events of so many days so CLEARLY.

Dear diary, as you can glean from the above sentence, I suffer from the inability to remembering a lot of information (I think there may be a belief amongst my fellow students that I am capable of remembering vast lots of information. I wish it were true). Therefore, should I bother to continue this diary, and as I cannot remember the true events of my day (and of previous days), I think I'll just make it up and hope for the best.
