Torn
__Axel lay spread on the grey upholstery couch in the grey tiled, grey painted area of Castle Oblivion. Brilliantly named the "grey room" by their Superior, Xemnas. His black collared shirt flapped open, leaving his chest bear. His coat was tossed carelessly to the side. __Typical Axel. __Were he so inclined, he might have been on a mission. But it was Sunday. Despite what "Mansex", as he so often called the superior, wanted, today was Axel's rest day. __Unfortunately Larxene had other ideas. __"Oh my, is that Axel I see?" she questioned, her voice feigning shock. She smirked as Axel spun his Chakrams, obviously not in the mood. __"Shut it, Larxene." Why was he stuck with this witch? __She scoffed, ghosting away to her own mission. That had actually worked? In somewhat of a state of confusion, Axel lay back against the couch again, springs shifting beneath him. No way this peace would last, especially if he had anything to say about it.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ __Zexion couldn't believe that VII hadn't come bark at him for not being in the grey room this morning. Maybe he and the Superior were busy. . . __The blunette couldn't believe the thought had even crossed his mind as he gathered his Lexicon and made way to the grey room, coat dragging behind. Unbelievably, no one but Axel and Larxene were there, the blond's heavy breathing and shiny skin telling him she was either having an asthma attack or she'd just returned from a mission. The latter seemed most likely. __As soon as he sat, beginning to read his Lexicon and take notes, Larxene started on him. "Why do you always have your nose in a book? It's so stupid!" Her claws slashed, ripping pages from his weapon. His life. He stared, utter shock covering his features. And then, one of the only emotions Nobodies were actually supposed to feel. __Anger. __He stood, face red and hot with furious tears. He was a head shorter than the lightning thrower. "How dare you even touch my--" He was cut off as Axel stood, stretching lazily. The redhead was not pleased. __"Larxene, you really need to learn when you've gone too far. First of all, teasing Zexion is my job." Axel received an eye-roll from the boy for that one. "Second, not only is that book important to him on a sentimental level, but it could very well be the difference between life and death for him." The redhead's voice seemed to resonate even though it hadn't risen once. His eyes were muddy, and the color made it obvious that he was thoroughly pissed. __Zexion wanted to hide, get away from the teasing redhead who was oddly at his defense and the blond who'd just ruined his life. He would never get back all that data, the ink already fading from the pages torn. He stormed to his room, most of the pages and the book in hand. Why couldn't they just disappear? __Axel stayed behind, his eyes glowing with anger. "What the hell was that?" Now his voice was raising. "I knew you were horrible, but not that you were such an idiotic, temperamental slut! Why don't you go do us all a favor and play with your lightening in a swimming pool?" __Leaving Larxene in shock, he grabbed a few missed pages from the Lexicon before heading to the blue-haired boy's room. Zexion hear him coming and frowned, not knowing he brought these gifts of peace offering. Only this door was between them. One was fretful, the other thankful. "I brought a few of your pages," the redhead said softly, laying them on the floor outside the door. __"Burn them," came the hopeless reply, but Axel was already back in his room. The blunette lifted himself from his bed, opened his door, and found the pages in a neat pile. He sighed, making his way to the room of the Fire-Starter. __"Axel, I need your help." He couldn't believe those words had just come from his mouth. Making his way into the room, he continued. "I want revenge. Nasty revenge. Will you help me?" __The reply was sly and immediate. "Gladly."
