The world says that love is an emotion, a feeling that you only get once in a lifetime. Love, to me, is action. Anyone can say that they love someone else by just hugging them and telling them what they want to hear, by getting that fluttery feeling everytime you're around them. But that's not what love really is. Sure, it's nice to have that extra little feeling, but you can't love someone when you aren't able to give. A quote I learned when I was little is, "You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving." Be it emotional giving (listen to them), time, physical (money, gifts, material things needed... ), you need to have more than "that feeling" to love. I believe that loving requires certain virtues like selflessness, peace, kindness, and patience. This being, you can love a complete stranger. I try to love, and I hope to make the lives of all the people I come into contact with a little happier by loving.
Have a happy, loving day! heart 4laugh
