The year...if only it was still known. I wish I could give some sort of marker...some way to show you just how much has happened...some clue as to how much time has passed. However, I cannot. Were do we start then? How can I give you a grasp on the reality that is now? I'd say we can start at the beggining...however, our story begins at what should have been the end. It's been quite some time since the end of the last Great War. 200, 300, 800, maybe even a 1000 years have passed. To be honest it dosen't really matter. Mankind brought judgement upon its self, fire rained from the sky, mushroom clouds sprouted from the earth like fungus on a rotting log. Yes, it should've been over by all means. For legend has it that the destruction, the hatred, the death, the pain, the agony...all tore a whole into reality...splitting the dimensions...letting loose the divine, and the demonic into the realm of mortal men. Mankind is now locked in battle to balance the power...to survive amongst those who look down upon them as mere insects. What does this have to do with me though? Why am I telling you this? I'm so glad you asked my friend...but first, have a seat, grab a drink, relax...this is going to be a long story.
