The day from that point seemed to just get better and better. Silence had to be careful what he referenced, what jokes he told, and his stories. Other than that, he was laughing along with Stacey, pointing at some of the sites not noticed by others, and generally having a good time. In one outing, Silence couldn't believe it, but he was hopelessly...
There was a call in the distance, and Silence reconized the voice. Josh walked up to them, and to Silence's surprise looked respectable."Nice day tuday, eh?" he said. He nudged Silence "Wut are you plannin on doin wth her when it gets late Silence?" he asked with a wink. Silence's face turned bright red. Seeing his reaction, Stacey realized what Josh was insinuating and blushed as well. Josh laughed out loud. "Just pullin your chains. I hope I didn't make your heart stop bro. You should see your face!" he playfully punched Silence in the arm. He suddenly whispered into Silence's ear "Heard this might happen. The Boss wanted to see ya for our next mission, but I told him yous wuz sick. I got the best clothes I had to make sure you were ok but not give away wut we do to your lady-friend here."
Silence was stricken dumb. Josh was treating him like a friend. "By the way, I can see why you were able to make such a great catch." said Josh, meaning Silence's face.
Josh left, and the couple spent a few more hours together before Silence dropped her off at her house. Even when she was gone, Silence couldn't get her out of his head. He hoped it wouldn't show in his work.
