Jorre's mad ramblings
"What you plan to write about"? Yeeeah, I see a problem there. I don't do "plan".
The insanity of University
Well, that's it. I'm so farking bored in University. I mean, I'm paying 500+ euros for this? A bunch of dried out prunes yabbering about nothing and still trying to flunk me because I talk back? Gah.

Ok, here's what I'm coming from. I'm a vocal personality. I like to express what I think is correct. I don't take crap from arses that happen to have a degree, but know not what they are saying. Which leads to me getting into discussions with my teacher of Medieval Tasks. Now, I've handed in my first big task preperation (The influence of naval dominance on the stance in global politics around 1600*). I flunked it in a bad way (from A to E -> E), but it was vaguely understandable, I didn't really draw in my source. No problem for me, I went straight back to the drawing board and got out a second option (The negative influence of the Roman-Catholic Dogmata on the interculturalisation in the late middle-ages) which was closely linked to my source. They flunk me ("E" wink again. Now honestly, aren't they supposed to have some kind of working ethos? I mean, it warrants a lot better than E. So I went to look at the first task's correction, turns out I first had a D (meaning workable, but have to shift it around a bit). Excuse me for going conspiracy then, but...honestly, how stupid do they think I am?

Right, apart from that, I've got a class named Heuristics. Basically, it's crap. I mean...we get lists with books. And that's it. Prof's in front, explaining what each book is. Clucking Bell, that's ******** big a no-no to awakeness for me.
And Nobel Prize Winners in English Literature is even worse. Those guys honestly never ever ever wrote good books. I'm two pages into Old man and the Sea and I fall asleep. I've read "Of Mice and Men" and it bores me. I'd take Marion Zimmer Bradley or David Gemmell, Roger Zelazny or Terry Pratchett over any of those 'famous and great authors'. I mean, do I need to know about some freak who shoots his friend who killed a woman because he's mentally a screwball? Well, if the plot would be less predictable, maybe. But it's see-through. Is it any wonder that this is from the guy who wrote the Pearl (hate it)? Is this the kind of writing that fetches you 100.000$? What a waste of good time and money. Next year, I'll sign in for a special 'fantasy in fiction' class. Even if nobody teaches it. At least then, some good thing will be read.

Huzzah for ranting spontaniously.
