Dep'l is, above all things, sad. He rarely smiles. A very unlucky being, Dep'l was stolen from his parents when he was barely a month old. Scientists experimented on him, injecting him with extraterrestrial DNA. He grew up in a lab, but when he reached age 10 the scientists determined that other than his appearance, the foreign DNA was going to make no other changes to Dep'l's genes, they tossed him out. Dep'l has wandered around since, running into each and every misfortune since. He is trying to find a place to belong and a person to bring joy into his life. Every time he attempts to merely cheer himself up, it backfires horribly. He does, however, enjoy the water and stays near the coast.

Notes:
- The flower looking thing on his cheek is a scar. He has alot of those, but that one is most noticeable.
- The bangs on his right (your left) are similar to the ones on his left.
- If you draw him in other clothes, which is fine, just please make them raggedy and skin-revealing.
- Unless you have drawn him with another person/being trying to cheer him up, he MUST look sad or forlorn. He is allowed to not look so sad if he is in/close to water, though.
- Even if you do draw him looking happier, nothing more than a soft smile graces his lips.
