Gisteren ben ik naar het gemeen-tehuis geweest,
om een nieuw paspoort aan te vragen, gezien mijn huidige bijna verlopen is. sad
Daar kreeg ik te horen, dat ik eerst nog mijn oude idee in moest leveren.
ik zei dat mijn idee bedorven was, en mijn moeder hem dus maar had weggegooid... confused
Maar, het mocht niet baten, ik moet aangifte doen bij de politie
van vermissing... eek van mijn idee.
dit kost zo'n 25 euro!
Hoe ze bij die prijs komen... GEEN IDEE! evil

Yesterday i went to the 'gemeentehuis'(=town hall; gemeen=mean, tehuis=accomodation),
to ask for a new passport, since the one i have now is almost out-of-date. sad
There they told me, that i had to bring my old 'idee' (=idea; identification card/ID).
I told them that it was expired (thus said the date on it), so my mother threw it away. confused
But it was no use; they told me to 'aangifte doen' (=give a declaration; dutch word used is for turning in thiefs) to the police, for 'vermissing' eek (= losing; dutch word used for extreme situations when everyone gets emotional and do everything to find it back) my idea.
This will cost me 25 euro!
How they make it cost so much? NO IDEA! evil
