I can't believe I read that book...
I read "Sunny: Diary Three" of the California Diaries series. I haven't read all of them, but I'll bet any money that this one is the saddest.
Plus, it didn't help the fact that my obsessive compulsive disorder is why I keep thinking about when and how my mom's gonna die and what's gonna happen. I love my mother so much.
[In the book, her mom dies of cancer.]
PLUS, Chipmunk's mom died last year. I accidently reminded him of it. He asked me how to put on eyeliner and I told him, the he said put it on him, and I, stupid me, said,"Steal your mom's eyeliner." As SOON as I said that, I remembered. I've trying to not mention mother around him.
I think thats why we're friends. We share some of the same pain. I mean, my dad's in jail, and he might come back some day. He'll never get his mom back.
It's just the fact that we both know what's it's like not having a parent around.
