Day 4
I woke up the next day only to find that the front door had been wide open. I came to a slight panic, i looked to the other guys to see who left....no one left. what? then who the hell opened the damn door? I woke Leonas up and we searched the entire building, as we walked into a bedroom we heard a strange noise. Kinda like a frustrated sigh mixed with a painful moan. Leonas and I stormed into the room in a battle position. it was a person, wait no a zombie...wait what? I tapped my foot on the ground to make a slight noise, the....thing turned around, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! the eyes are missing with blood coming out, the mouth is positioned vertically and it has horns. It took one step towards us and it just fell flat on the ground, dead. "what the hell was that?" Leonas said "i have no idea" i answered. Leonas and I went back to Quinn and Xilai, they were awake. "Hey get this, something came inside the house last night, and let me tell you it was not a pretty sight." i said, we packed up and left the house in search of any more survivors. We didn't see a zombie in sight, that was interesting, something wasn't right here it was too quiet for a zombie outbreak. Later on in the walk we heard the same noise Leonas and I heard in the room. "Stop!" Quinn said. "did anyone else hear that?" we were worried, when another one of those things came running at us at full speed. "OH CRAP!" Xilai yelled, i poped a shot off with my rifle and it fell tumbling as it fell and died. "what the hell is that thing?" Xilai asked "Thats the same thing we saw back at the house." Leonas said, we had no idea what those things were, all we knew was it wasn't happy to see us. We kept moving until we saw a little food store, we entered the store cautiously when we heard someone yell "GET BACK IM WARNING YOU!" some scared voice came from behind a desk "its okay we are human." Xilai said. The owner of the voice stood up from the desk and sighed in relief. "you people are a sight for sore eyes." said the man "who are you?" i asked "my name is Tanaka" Tanaka answered. "we need some supplies before we keep moving." Quinn said "Here take some K rations and some meat, you'll need it." Tanaka offered to us. "thanks a lot, aren't you going to come with us?" Leonas asked. "No im going to stay here and protect my shop, good luck to you guys." Tanaka replied. We headed out of the store and walked for about another three miles when a horde started to approach us. "ohh boy here we go." said Quinn we got ready to fight. Xilai fired a shot nailing a zombie right in the left eye. then we all opened up, reloading like crazy and firing again and again. Quinn threw a frag grenade taking out a good chunk of the horde, Leonas took out a Mini Uzi from his bag and started to fire. I kinda chuckled to myself thinking about the name Uzi such a silly sounding name for a useful weapon. an hour into the shooting there were only three left, Xilai, Quinn and Leonas did the most badass thing i ever saw someone do, they ran towards the three remaining zombies and jumped into the air and sliced them in half vertically. we found a small shed to rest in for the night. everyone else fell asleep, when i put my head on my pillow i didn't think about anything, for once i slept very well through the night, didn't think about one thing only feeling that we just might make it there is hope left then i fell asleep. not thinking about what adventure awaits us tomorrow.
