Chapter three She walked to her room and began to unpack. She made her bed; black and blue sheets with a blue pillow and black pillow. A picture of her sister sat next to her bed. Her long brown hair in a bun and having peace– all before two months ago– she was smart, beautiful, and had the actual mind of someone her age, but no longer. Next to that picture, she had a picture of her and her best friend, Heather. She smiled. They took this two days before she left. Her parents didn’t know she was going to an all guy school. She smiled and laid back. ‘Til Zack came out of the bathroom naked. Her eyes got big; she blushed and turned away. Zack walked down the stairs and said, "Shower’s free." She turned herself around and started to go to sleep. Tomorrow will be her first day at school with people from different dorms. Jasmine awoke with a start to a boy screaming next to her. "Wake up, Ryan! We gotta go to school, and you gotta take a shower!" Jasmine looked Zack in the eye. "I’m going to murder you," she growled with a smile; not kidding, "Move it, what time is it?" "Five-thirty, I best be off to track, bye!" he said and sprinted off. "I’m going to kill you, you b*****d!!" She didn’t get any sleep. All she did was turn back and forth on her bed all night. She got out of bed and saw that Jake was looking up at her. "He wakes everyone because he goes to track early." "Five o’ clock in the morning early…,"she said, rolling her eyes. "Well, you can take a shower first. Wake me up when you’re done." She nodded and walked into the bathroom, locking the door, undressed, took off her wrapping, and jumped into the shower. She did all the things she needed to do, put her wrapping back on, put her uniform on, walked out, and went and down to the guy’s bed and shook Jake. "Jake, time to wake up," She shook and shoved him. He wouldn’t get up, but he looked really cute in his sleep. She patted his hair and his eyes fluttered open. "Oh, dude, sorry I didn’t wake up," he said blushing a bit. "Seriously though, don’t get mad, but you look like a girl." "Well, too bad, I’m not. I’m going to head to school, bye." She strode away with her heart racing. She was blushing and thinking, "I gotta be careful around him… but he’s so adorable!" She shook her head and walked to the school building, which took only five minutes to find her class. She wandered in and sat in the back. She glanced at all the students that came in and saw almost everyone she saw at the dorm: Kip, Mac, Jake, and Zack were in her class and a few others, but then she looked for the boy she hated the most in the world. "Damn, he’s not in my classes….” She got angry, but cooled her head. She would just find out which dorm he was in and which classes he took so she could find her way around. Suddenly, a small, skinny boy came up to her and sat right in front of her and turned around. "You’re a transfer rigggght?" "Yes, why?" "I dunno, just bothersome if I forgot your name. Tim’s mine, yours is…?" "Ryan." Obviously being bothered by him, Jake walked over to us. "Yo, Tim. Get outta my seat." Tim looked at Jake, got up, apologized, and scurried elsewhere. "I see you have this school by its leash, Jake." She commented nonchalantly. "Nope, that guy’s just a pansy." She looked at him. She didn’t think he’d say that, but she just rolled her eyes and the teacher came in. "Hello, students. Today, we have a new student." He read the clipboard aloud, "Ryan Carpenter?" "Yes, sir," she said in her man-trying-voice. "Yes, Ryan. Good spot, Jake is a good student. Well, everyone. I wanted to inform you Ryan is the most intelligent one in here, and you are all to take after his example." Her jaw dropped. "How can a teacher out me like that?!" She thought to herself she was infuriated "Well, everyone. Let’s go to today’s lesson." She laid back and listened to the class. She did the same thing in every class: sat in the back and was quiet. It seemed like every teacher was out to get her. When she got to gym, her P.E. teacher threw a ball at her– her first instinct kicked in and she head-butted the ball. She looked around the room. Everyone was staring at her and the leaders of the different sports teams all shook their heads and began to scream that she was theirs. She ran as fast as she could, took so many different routes, and arrived at the counselors’ office to hide....
