sir, the badgers have breached bill's ranch from an outpoost at deadman's pass. my squirrelcoon dragoons held them off, but i have bad news... they were merciless. i lost jeff, my 2nd in command and favorite kidney. i will follow up this report with a more detailed account in a few days in my journal.
