There is something I found out I could so. Though it sounds complicated, it is actually quite easily.

1. Suppress own memories. [For my I think of the memories as movies being burned my fire. That usually works for me] Don't worry, they'll always return unless there were some you didn't want to remember.

If you focus of curtain memories they can be suppressed for a longer amount of time.

2. Think about everything you know about a character very quickly.

3. If the two steps worked then a persona is in place

If you want to remember what you did while using a persona, or not you can easily suppress the memories.
