(I posted this stupid thing last night, but as you would figure, myspace decided to be a douche once again and not put it up)
It was easy at first, but it eventually got harder and harder as I went on. I barely got to Shackler's Revenge at around 4:30 ish. I almost failed Bodisattva and Panic Attack and BARELY 5-starred Painkiller... and of course I, for the first time got the solo and COULD'VE GS'd it, but messed up on parts I normally would get. DX
Start time: 12:10 AM (can't remember exact time, but it was around there)
End time: 6:28 AM (around there)
It took about 6 hours and 15 mins. I managed to pull through. wink
Geez I was SOOO close to failing Bodisattva DX That last solo at the last part did, and whenever I missed a note, it was nearly impossible to get back. I literally passed it to where if I missed ONE more note, I would've failed. After that it was one of those crazy fill things where you can do whatever you want lol. Thank god I didn't fail.
This wasn't an easy feat trust me, and most people who went for the Bladder of Steel award (play through the entire setlist without pausing or failing) most likely played during the day, whereas I played through the whole night.
There were so many songs I could've or should've gold starred but just didn't, like Shackler's Revenge and Master Exploder.
For the record, I don't like Visions, or I would've gotten 5 stars. Rob the Prez-o-dent is very confusing and I don't really like it, Welcome to the Neighborhood idk what happened there, and Chop Suey I only have like a 40% chance of getting 5 stars. It's also not an easy song for me. Shoulder to the Plow... ugh, SO CLOSE to getting 5 stars there. It would've been my first. The circle was literally a millimeter left from getting to 5 DX Souls of Black could've done that too.
If you do this on expert for the first time (without doing it on the other difficulties), you get:
Legendary status (your icon for whatever instrument you did becomes platinum. Doing guitar also makes it turn platinum for bass)
A new instrument (haven't seen it yet so idk what it is since I feel asleep after doing it)
More fans (varies on how much you have... I got 21 million doing that setlist)
More money of course (I got 52k doing it)
Achievements:
Vinyl Artist: Do it on medium (icon becomes inverted)
Gold artist: Do it on hard (Icon becomes gold)
Platinum artist: Do it on expert (icon becomes platinum)
Bladder of Steel award: Do it without pausing and failing a song
If you're doing it for the first time and it's on expert, you get the gold and vinyl achievements also. Bladder of Steel is optional, but if you want it, then go ahead. I went for it lol. Getting all of em totals 155 GS. Idk how much they are separately sorry.
And LOL my alarm clock on my phone went off when I was playing Colony of Birchman! PSYCHOSOCIAL!
