And so, the Halloween event ends with S.I.N. as the winner. It is, after all, just a game & I know this full well. But seriously, the "consolation prize" B.O.O. is absolutely... perhaps uncalled for. If anyone's the true 'winner', it'd be Jack. He played us all, & we were all too willing to have the fun. Heh.
The event had me thinking about the factions in Guild Wars. There's always going to be idiots saying that their faction is better than the opposing team. (ex. Luxons are better than Kurzicks!" & all that) Same behavior applies to the past event. Way too many people took it too seriously. Going into the opponent's forums saying something to the extent of "BOO rules, SIN drools!" is simply retarded. Both teams are guilty of the deeds, as said many times in the forums. I know I'm repeating a bunch of what's said there, but oh well. At least I'm not clogging the forum with my two cents.
Bottom line: Event's over; SIN won, BOO noobs, just try to graciously accept the loss. Admit it, we all had fun. LET IT GO.
