I saw this 2006 video (amongst others out there) that I thought I would pass along. It starts out with a little girl asking her daddy about war and has several quotes throughout the video.
In my opinion, Veteran's Day is not a day to ask, "Should there be war?" Veteran's Day is a day to honor, thank, and remember those who signed up with Honor and Dignity to fight for a Cause they believed in. Our Country's Freedom didn't come free and there are many other reasons for being a soldier. They did not fight in vain so let's reassure them when we see A Veteran. There is enough media trying to make them feel bad for doing something they believed in - let's not be one of "them" and let's show our GRATITUDE!
If you are a Veteran reading this, I want to Thank You for your Service and Thank you for fighting for what you believed in!!
