I know what kindness is,
I know what hate is,
I know what friendship is,
but love...what is love?

I've seen it in the eyes of those around me,
I've heard it in the truth of others.
Love is all around me,
but still I don't know what it is,
or how it feels.

At the moment all I feel is lonelyness,
no love,
no friendship,
no hate,
no kindness,
just...lonelyness.

Why is that?
I haven't a clue.
Friends surrond me and people like me,
Though it does not feel that way
still no one has asked me,
or told me they love me,
all have rejected me.

So why do people search for love?
When all it does...
is eat you up.
