Competition (People)
Some people just don't get it do they,
You try to be all nice to them and s**t and all they do is make you pay.
Pay for past mistakes and little wrongs,
I did nothing wrong and yet people pester my heart till its gone.
What the hell is wrong with people these days,
Trying to take enemies and even friends down in the evilest of ways.
Competing for every little thing they do,
Hurting everyone in their way...the most important people, even you.
Don't stray from what your heart tells you is right,
I can tell you now, it hurts when everyone knows the hype.
Spreading rumors and lies about you no matter what,
They don't care who you are, they say you're a slut.
Look up, look down, look all around,
Hold your head up high, and don't let anything get you down.
A lie is a lie and a rumor is a rumor,
You know what you did, no need to be so tense and gloomer.
Don't act different because of a little white lie,
Take your hand, pick it up, and wave goodbye.
Goodbye to the past and this little nuisance,
No need to deal with it anymore, don't spend your last 2 cents.
(Don't spend your last 2 cents means don't spend no more time on it)
