[MISSION REPORT: MEETING #1]
"Oh, good day, Sempton!" I greeted. The sun was just rising over the grassy green hills. I wore a blue dress, a green hat, high heeled shoes, white gloves, and I held a red heart-shaped box. My usual blue and gold contacts were out of my eyes, so my eyes were blue and wide. My dog, Kuruk, walked beside me.
"Good day, Mistress Ann," Sempton Sheridan replied politely. He had short blond hair, blue eyes, and a beige suit on. Yes; I had chosen my name to be "Ann."
"How are you?"
"I am very fine, and yourself?" he asked. I felt like barfing.
I managed a sweet smile and said, "Oh, I am wonderful, as long as you are here." Such lies. I'd be much better if he was gone. Alas, this is my mission, and I must follow through no matter how unfavourable.
Even though I knew all about him--I had hacked into the FBI's file on him before the mission--I needed to seem like I didn't know much about him. So I clarified, "So, you are an arms dealer, are you not?"
He smiled and nodded.
I tried to sound like a nervous lady as I asked, "You've never...hurt someone with a weapon, right?"
I subtly looked intently at his face. Because of this, I noticed his eyes widen for a split second before returning to normal. "No, of course not," he assured, flashing me a toothy smile. It was a smile that would have convinced almost any girl. Though I was not "any" girl. I was undercover, and I knew exactly what to look for in a lie.
I smiled and said, "Oh, that's a relief!"
Asami, my spirit falcon, circled the sky above us. With a hand gesture, I gave her the signal.
Asami flew away.
Asami's P.O.V:
Ratt's signal! Asami flew into the forest to the right of the hill in which Ratt was standing with that man Sempton.
Asami looked for the tree stump with the open cell phone on it. Once found, the spirit falcon landed and held one tallon on the "4" button.
Speed dial was a wonderful thing.
"Hello?" answered a man.
Asami quickly flapped over to the tape recorder box and pressed "play." A recording played.
It said, "What have you done with the bodies of the two children you killed?"
The man on the other line said something, but Asami couldn't make out what it was.
"Goodbye," the recording said.
Ratt's P.O.V:
Just as according to plan, Sempton's cell phone rang. He gave me a sign to "hold on for a minute."
He pulled the phone out of his pocket and said, "hello?"
A few seconds later, Sempton's eyes widened and he said quietly, "two? There were more than two. And why should I tell you? I don't even know who this is."
He hung up.
"Who was that?" I asked, though I knew exactly who it was--my recording.
"Oh, nobody, my lady," he replied somewhat stiffly.
"Surely it couldn't have been nobody," I insisted. He sighed.
"Alright. It was my friend and co-worker, Buckly. I have to take his shift right now at the weapon shop. I am so sorry for this," he explained.
"Oh, alright," I told him. "Have a nice day!"
"You too, Mistress." And then he dashed off.
~~
And so I discovered a name of one of his friends--Buckly. And that he killed more than two people. Now I just need to figure out how to get even more information out of him.
With Asami by my side, we will be unstoppable!

We’re talking about when we met and you say it was easier to fall for me thinking (I'll remember this pause) it was likely I’d be dead by now.
