look above you,
just beyond the snowy slopes and plains,
there lies a mountain,
which has caused climbers much disdain
they say it's a magical place,
the place where Earth touches the heavens
and the winds alone would make you a good popsicle.
Though few have been,
it's sights are well-known throughout the world
but only those few know it's true mysticism.
this mountain,
it lies near two of the first cradles of civilization,
waiting for more brave beings to make the ascent
to the gateway of heaven.
