When I awoke, something didn't seem right to me. I think it was because I was hanging upside down by my ankles, hovering over an open fire! Yeah.. I think that was it. I glanced over at Dianices, her neck had a dart stuck in it. I reached over and yanked it out, causing her to wake up. She shook her head and a loud snap came with it, along with a noisy grumble. I peeked over at Hikaruna and N'taz, they were coming around slowly but surely.
"What the hell?! What happened?" Well I saw Dianices was feeling perfectly normal. N'taz as usual struggled and fought to get free, Hikaruna just hung there still trying to figure out what in the world was going on.
Then suddenly, a great number of dark colored people came over to us from the deep forrest, then I finally noticed that we were in a huge clearing inside the forrest that we slept outside of last night.
"We must be trespassing on their territory!" Hikaruna suggested silently, my sister agreed by nodding. Sounded reasonable enough to be the case..
"Ummm... hello? We mean you people no harm, we need to get past here.." I said polietly as I showed them my hands and pointed to the direction we needed to go. One of the warriors that looked like he was attacked by a freaking porkypine! With a shaky fingure he poked Hiaruna's side and he giggled in response as he said: "Oh hun, Your cute but I'm not sure I'm ready for this yet.."
Dianices couldn't help but laugh at his joke, and surprisingly the man actually laughed.. or well, attempted to at least by grinning and jumping up and down histerically, causing his skirt like thing to show off parts of his body that didn't need to be shown. Hikaruna blushed and tried not to laugh, N'taz just closed his eyes and looked away.
Then suddenly, the ground started rumbling like foot steps were heading our way. A somewhat large man came out from the crowd of men surrounding us. A tall and thick man with long black hair with red streaks and he seemed to have been working out a whole bunch, his mucles were ripped! His held a long staff that at the top was a raven's skull attached to it. I gulped and attempted to smile friendly without seeming worried or scared but I felt a slight sweat come across my forehead. He came up and gave each of us a good look, whenever he got to me, he looked at me and held up his staff to my neck and spoke.
"Wanabitapie." Then he pointed to himself. Dianices then suddenly gasped and smiled a big smile.
"YES PLEASE!!!" She nearly shouted.
"Stupid, thats his name! He's not asking you if you want pie.." N'taz hissed at her, "... We don't wanna piss this ******** off!"
I gave him a crooked smile then pointed to myself, "Raven.." I smiled at him. Wanabitapie smiled back to me and then turned to his people and spoke in a kinda screwed up lanuage. They began to move toward us with spears. "NOW SEE WHAT YA DID DIANICES!?!?" Hikaruna gasped and covered his eyes.
Instead of hurting us, they cut us down from the ropes that bound our ankles. Wanabitapie motioned his arm to me and when I walked cautiously up to him he put his braud arm around me and laughed a huge laugh that must of been heard miles away. Then he led us out of the clearing and to his village.
Definalty more then what I ever expected to see, tents made of straw and sticks and sheets, a gaint camp fire right in the middle of the joint. At the top were two marvelous throwns, one covered with skulls and dried blood and the other covered with vines and colorful flowers with thorns. The people presented it to us in an amazing fashion. Dianices came up along side of me and nudged my arm, "Look what Mr. Casanova's doing..!" She pointed to him and I followed her fingure and saw him pull out something that glisened in his hands. He walked over to me and placed it upon my head, I glanced up and brushed a peice of hair that was in my eyes. I smiled the same crooked smile. Wanabitapie then turned and motioned me to follow him and surely I did. The gang followed as well to the front of the village to the two throwns. The cheif pointed to the feminine one and then he sat down in his own. I looked over at the others and Dianices giggled, Hikaruna smiled, but N'taz glared at him with his eyes glowing crimson red.
I had no choice but to sit down and when I did, a woman came up and nelt down with a plate of what it looked like to be food. Wanabitapie handed one peice of meat to me and I sniffed it, my senses tingled and my mouth watered. I hadn't eaten sense before Ookami died. I took a small bite and my mouth suddenly filled with sweet, suckulant blood. I felt a horrible pain in my stomach, then my heart throbbed. My lungs felt heavy then I dropped the meat and fell hard to the ground, unconious.
When I awoke, I was inside one of the tents and was confronted by N'taz. I hadn't talked or looked at him sense the night before. I blinked and looked away, ashamed. "W-what happened to me?" I asked trying not to give away the fact that I really didn't want him here. "Raven... I was so worried about you.." He said almost in a romantic tone. As he lightly touched my forehead and then leaned and kissed it, I blushed deeply and looked at him with wide eyes. He smiled and winked at me. Then suddenly Dianices walked into the tent and nelt down next to the cot that I was laying on. "Wanabitapie said something to the effect of that you're cursed by the pale faces.." She didn't even understand what she had just said. I tried to sit up but N'taz stopped me and layed me back down. "N'taz..." I began but before I could finish my sentence he turned to Dianices and told her to leave. She glanced at me then slowly walked out.
"Raven, I have some explaining to do... I haven't been honest with you and I wish to tell you something.." N'taz began, peircing me with his strong gaze, eyes changing to tints of green and purple. "I'm... I'm a vampire.."
