So we ended up not voting for head drum major today because our lovely band director forgot to print out the ballots. But we did get ice cream. :] so on a whole, we pretty much forgave 'im.
Got my schedule. NONE of my friends have ANY classes with me. 'Kay, little bit of an exaggeration: I have English with one of my friends, but that's only one class.
I still gotta check with like two more guys, but they're almost certainly not in any of my classes (except maybe chem, since I'm in regents in that) being that I'm in mostly honors classes and my electives differ vastly from theirs.
Who the hell am I gonna end up with? D: There's a particular group of people I always get stuck with- they're pretty much your average "preps", come from the best area of town, wear abercrombie & fitch crap, talk s**t about everyone behind their backs but will not confront the object of their gossip (read: me, oftentimes), get into honors classes because mommy and daddy make it so- and I always have my friends to sort of dilute my pure rage towards them. But if I'm stuck utterly without allies and with THIS group, I'm going to lose my mind.
*sigh*
Anyhow.
I'm not playing my usual three sports this year, did I mention that? I'm playing lax, possibly, in the spring, but I cannot play field hockey and winter track is looking more and more doubtful every day. Shot put is terrible for the knees- it relies heavily on like lower body strength and all that, and if I can't even walk up and down stairs... well. You know.
Marching hurts like anything too, but band's a class. And aside from that, the bari section needs some serious help (due to one blemish of a player who might be a nice guy but he's a total airhead- we voted him off the island, but unfortunately he did not have a ferry ticket, dammit). And I just completely love band. <3
Well. That's kind of all I had to say.
