.....As she walked towards him drenched in blood and water, she could see the cool noncaring look in his eyes vanish for a brief second, or maybe not. A shooting pain shot threw her arm and she fell to her knees.
" I wont put you in anymore danger." Those were the last words she would hear fall from his lips. He came to her and held her for a brief moment, then he was gone, walking away....
"dont...go....." the last words he would hear were the last words she would ever say. 'So this is what its like to die...' Her body felt cool and light, all the pain was gone. She tried to stand, the tears were flowing down her cheeks in torrents, 'Why is he leaving?' As this last thought entered her mind her wet eyes closed, her body felt as though it was floating then the sensation was as if she were falling. The last thing she felt was the cold water as the river came around her hiding her from the rest of the world.
"I'm sorry..." The voice was lost as her head vanished under the black waters....
