Got parallel parking right the first time. wink

The guy was supersuper nice, and he was in a hurry to go and test Tyler Geiger or whatever, but still. It felt somehow very short and easy. Plus, he didn't go over any railroads or stop signs on the ground (all of which I had already looked over).

Soo then dad and I went home. Then we drove (he on his motorcycle, I on HOGART!) back to Motor V to sign up for the permenant license with birth certificate in hand.

Oh, I forgot. When we were in the parking lot and just about to go inside, I was putting Hogart on the kick stand-like thing when my poor bare leg touched the superevilextremelyhot muffler. Then Geiger and pops come out to talk motorcycles with my pops, and I'm hopping from leg to leg, not wanting to interupt but seething with a bee sting pain.

We go to Subway. See Jake and Sami (the graduated senior = awkward one minute talk about preseason).

Go home.

Finally ice the burn, which is bubbling and turning white through the red.

Mother comes home from teacher workshop. We dance.

Other half of tuna sandwich for dinner.

Bike ride. Cut it short, since my bandage was starting to peel off.

The pain-relief Neosporin helped a lot. When I didn't have it, I had to keep the ice on the burn. Not that I could FEEL it. No, the burn had about zero temp. registration, but somehow all the nerves that could transmit PAIN were still there. Take off the ice, and I had about fifteen seconds before the numbness wore off and the throbbing began. So let's just say that bathroom breaks were very short. wink

Buttttt it feels better now. At least, if it's bad enough, it means that there's that much less leg to shave. :p
