Incoming waves
Caress the shoreline
Skipping over them
Frantic squeals

Leap high up
Land with a splash
Getting louder
Rising tide

Up to the knees
Harder to jump
Waves get bigger
Not giving up

Waist high
The climax
Lift each other up
Still not giving up

Level lowers slowly
Back down to the knees
Easier to leap
But losing energy

Ankle low
Effortless jumps
The tide giving in
As the sunset starts

No more waves
But all now soaked
Hi-fiving in the peach light
Silhouettes before the sun
