So I went to the orthopaedic dude today. He messed around with my ankle and knee and made me take x-rays in all these funny positions.
So it turns out that my ACL is loose- possibly torn, though not like severely- and my kneecap is tilted forward. Whether this is from the development of my bones or an injury is up for debate, but I assume it's the latter. If my kneecap was just tilted and the ACL wasn't loose/torn, then it would obviously be development. But I'm going to go ahead and assume that the two are related, and that it happened sometime in November, during field hockey season.
As for the ankle, nothing came up on the x-ray. It's weird. The theory is that I was walking funny because of my tilted kneecap so that was affecting my ankle.
I have to go to a radiology place sometime this weekend or something to get an MRI done of my knee to check to see if my ACL is just loose or torn. Hopefully it's just loose.
I'm kind of in a lot of pain now because he was bending my knee funny and stuff, and because the waves were really rough during the second lesson of the day today and I was dragging kayaks around and all. And I had to chase one kid all over the beach, lol. But I'll live.
PS- check out my multimedia. It's a great song. It's basically about a guy trying to woo a girl with seven of various things- seven roses, and I believe seven hawks, etc. It's all fairytale-esque.
