This rp is modern, with a classic twist: Ninjas versus Pirates (and
samurais...because Mitsurugi and Afro Samurai are just......sick)
Any way, I really wanted a modern, graffiti style rp, but I also like the
pirate/ninja/samurai theme....sooooo......here it goes.
Setting: Neonopolis:
As the name says, the city of light, marred only by its corrupt leaders and crooked
cops. There are those few who have grasped freedom through their art, as well as
their music. Ofcourse, they aim to free the rest of society. Spreading graffiti
city-waide is their goal, painting the harsh and starkly white concrete jungle with
something called 'culture'. A term whose meaning has been twisted, and warped
with time, its true definition lost, and only to be saved by those brave enough to
work outside the law.
But...ofcourse....man was made for strife. Even within these groups, these saviors
of art, there is a war. A war that has reached from millenia ago. When it was
thought to be extinguished, it resurfaced in this new, and grittier future. Will it stop?
Will all fall, and culture be lost forever? Or will one prevail, after crushing the others?
Or, perhaps, will fate intervene, to bring all three groups together to fight the
common enemy. The "Man"?

The Techno Ninjas:
with theirgohst cloaks that give them the appearance of glass. They know the
outlay of the rooftops better than any of the three groups. Tradition pushes them to
fight with the same swords, knives, and shruiken as their ancestors, but they have
evolved. Goggles, for infra red and nightvision are a must, as well as com-link
systems that make communication easy and silent. Their black putfits are more
modern than before, but silence, and blending into the tarmac is key. The colors are
usually grey and black.
Music style: Techno. Before every missioin, a ritualistic rave, breaking thorugh
all levels of discipline and freeing the minds of thos participating. They say that a
true Rave Ninja praises an African Dj God, whose presence fills the temple-like
subteranean halls of their secret underground lair. He is said to possess a velvety
voice that melts ones pores closed, and a heartbeat that pounds out a never ending
pulse of music, connecting all ninjas together.
Art style: Very thin and spiky. Quikck, well placed strokes are key for these
tags. Any stencils are lightning fast, and put up with pin-point precision. They
specialise in stick ups though, diving from rooftops to slap the stickers on
billboards, windows, etc.

Lead Ninja:
The Metal Pirates:
with their high powered bikes, and blaring attitudes. Not only there to spread
culture, but also to make money. They wear grell, ostentatious clothing, with many
piercings and tattoos. Their demeanors are tough, but also very fun-loving.
Dare-davil partiers, everyone of them travels in tight knit biker groups, speeding
thorugh the streets of Neonopolis at such speeds that the g-force has literally taken
the skin off of a few faces. While they drink alot, and aer very unruly, loyalty is awell
treasured trait of any pirate, as well as brawling. Any pirate who cannot fight, is
thrown out.
Music style: Rock is the predominant fixture among the pirates. Metal solos
and grell guitars blare from hidden speaker systems from their hi-tech bikes. Along
with this goes the skull decal, and the skeleton pattern on their clothes.
Art Style: Loud, violent colors. Larger is always better for a true Biker Pirate,
and one's bravery is determined only by covering a whole police cruiser in color,
from stem to stern. Being the daredevils that they are, they also board trains from
the outside, doing train-bombings at impossible speeds. Their murals usually
include devil-like, or skeleton figures.Perhaps even a motorcyle or two.
fighting: ultimate sharpshooters, using new age flintlock type weapons, as
well as a motley of other deadly short range weapons.
Captain:
The Beat Samurais:
with their katanas and their pimp cups. A deep hierarchy exists. The lower samurai
class is called 'Thug' going up to 'Gangsta', then 'Mobsta' and to 'Pimp'. Once part
of the 'Pimp' rank, they are entitled to more royalties, as well as working with the
'Godfather' in person. These samurais are usually under a haze of drugs and crime,
but they are also very proficient with a sword. Very proud, they rather kill
themselves than be caught by the cops.
Music Style: Rap and Street beats are very common for Samurais, if not
called for. Past disciples, such as "Lil Wayne" and "Snoop Dogg" as well as the
rough "DMX" and "Reed Dollaz" are praised for their works.
Art Styles: Highly styliesed and flashy. Its all about astheatics for the
Samurais. Plenty of nice cars, women, and pitbulls are painted in their extensive murals.
Fighting: with samurai swords and submachine guns.
The God-father:
The Messiah for the 'New Way Movement":
also dubbed the "New Way Devil" by the media, he is known for his versatile attack
skills, as well as his broad musical taste, and great tea making. Sited so far only
by the three leaders of the Cultural movement, it is rumored that he wil work more in
the open from now on. His art is massive. Murals that have covered walls of large
coorporate buildings like bombshell wounds have been sited, with the tag "Skully"
at the bottom. Some say that he has multiple arms, because his trainbobings seem
so extensive and detailed, that it is seemingly unlikely to be the work of only one
person.
Some call him 'Terrorist' a few misguided one's 'God', but one thing is for certain,
his skill could fulfill, or doom, this artistic undertaking of the three opposing sides.
Fighting: Cops who have tried to detain him have attested to violent "but dance-like
movements". We can only speculate that capoeira is being meant. A flowing and
graceful style, incoorporating rythm, as well as momentum, to beat down
opponents.
