Work and NYU classes sure are fun!
I feel like I've totally gotten to know everyone at work really well. =] It was a lot of fun at Hunts Point airating the trees and mulching them. =3 We all got to talk together and there's no more silence between anyone. The quiet dude who said he liked to sing isn't so quiet after all! And Nathaniel who seemed quiet because of his hearing problems is really nice and easy to talk to! And Matthew was pretty cool too. =] Ah the joy of bonding. It is the trees that have brought us together! o.o Right?
Well, it was fun going through the sprinklers and going on the swings in the park on our break. =]
Hopefully on Monday morning, we'll all play handball in the morning, those of us who get there early that is. Jyrone said that the people who play in the afternoon are too "hardcore" to play with, so morning it is.
Hmmmmmmmm.
Classes were good too! Richard's a queer Asian dude. x] He literally laughs at everything I do. xD It's so funny how I'm like more asian than him with handball and piano and sushi loving. xD
After class while I was talking to Michellee, I also got to know Reniecia and Elaine better. They're really nice. =] I think Reneicia was the one I met at orientation too. Anyway, we're hopefully going to BN after class on one of the not so rainy days and also Broadway one of these days. Apparently NYU students get a huge discount so $100 ticket is like $20 for us. =] That's awesome!!
Our first presentations are soon for the class too. Not such a big deal, I should like to think. 5 minutes. An environmental topic of choice. I hope its fun. =]
Well, after classes, I went with Elaine, Michelee and Reneicia on the R train. I got off at Union Sq though to go to BN instead of home. xD We finished up a little early today, so I had some time. Actually we almost finished an hour early but then it started raining insanely hard (btw we watched a documentary on Rachel Carson today, not bad =3) so we stuck around. xDD But then when it stopped raining, he let us out. We have a pretty cool professor. =3
So, I basically spent forever plus an hour at BN looking for something to read next week. I finished reading Speak this week and it was so good! I'm thinking of reading Club of ANgels next week. Its about the soncsecutive murders of gluttonous men who all gather together to stuff themselves with food and are eventually killed for their supposed sins. Sounds interesting.
