So someone called me last night and frankly I'm sick of this stupid situation coming up.
I'm tired of explaining it's not my fault and I'm tired of being pinned as the bad guy.
I'm not going to be walked all over so here's my side of the story.
And instead of my side of the story actually being a STORY, I'm going to cut the narration down as much as possible and just give you cold hard FACTS.

I autobought Ichi's auction with winged anklets on January 7, 2009.
Why?
Because I thought she was my friend and I wanted to help her out.

She didn't have any rules for an autobuy because I guess she thought she'd never get it, so I PMed her and asked her what she would draw, because I wanted more than one image.
We never could seem to agree on anything, but eventually I left it at some couples and a few singles. Honestly I don't remember what it was but I do know it was mostly art of other people and not myself.
A couple of days later I refined it so she'd have to draw less art. This might have been confusing.

I was with her on skype a lot at the time and I'd frequently make jokes about when the art was finished. But I stressed that it was a joke. Eventually she broke down and said in all seriousness to stop bringing it up, so I did stop bringing it up.
But weeks passed with still absolutely no progress and I would contact her from time to time asking what was up, and she'd give very little info other than "It will be done".
Eventually I got an actual date out of her, and she told me EVERYTHING would be done on February 18th.
"Are you sure?"
Yes, she said. EVERYTHING she owed me would be done on February 18th, she promised.
That day came and passed with no progress.
After that I just left her alone except for a few dA notes here and there, as I watched her on dA.

At some point in the middle of this, I was having personal issues, and I thought I wouldn't be on Gaia when the art got finished. So I told Ichi to just give the art to who it belonged to when it finished (Because it mostly was of friends) and gifted her the anklets. This made me especially angry when I didn't quit Gaia like I thought and Ichi had still finished nothing, but had the anklets already.

I had tried being nice on Gaia but she would continually upload stuff to dA so you can see why I was getting angry. Since being nice to her wasn't working, I changed my gears, and from here on out it is mostly screenshots:

No response from her.


In my defense, I thought if you deleted something from your sentbox on dA before it was read it wouldn't go through. So that's where this "mysterious threat" came from.
Oh well. I meant it anyway:


Just in case you didn't know, Ichi has two computers and was uploading art in between this. she mentions one file, but she owed me several pieces of art. She could've worked on something else.
She also never told me her laptop was broken until just now.
Regardless, we continue.



She does as she says and she sends me a trade with the anklets on Gaia sometime later.

I confirm the trade and go to sleep, waking up to this in my dA inbox the next day:

After that I felt kind of stupid/asshatty for confirming with 0 gold so I poststalked her and found that she had just opened an art shop recently (which made me more angry btw, but whatever) and decided that I'd pay her about the rates she was asking for the one art she actually did give me.
I think I gave her 60k. I'm not quite sure. It wasn't below 50k anyway (In case she edits the thread, the highest bribe was from eudaemon at 30k for a single).
So I edited the trade with the gold in it, and noted her back on dA:



It doesn't take a genius to know that "prompted by others" meant "Bitched about it in the guild".
I have the gold she's asking for and I do some math because I really, really want to end this. I'm tired of dealing with her.


So I sent her the trade and she confirmed it and I went on my merry way. Although I'm sure she made it out like she was the victim.
By the way, this is what I got for 167k:
A WIP that was never finished and a couple art. After close to three months of waiting.
(And those were finished within days of the auction being AB'ed, which made this situation all the more aggravating!)

I have been keeping quiet until now. I have been kind and only talked to people about Ichi who actually knew about the issue. I never brought her name up in the forums (not even private forums) and I never bitched about Ichi without being prompted about Ichi first.
But then I learn that she's been talking bad about me THE ENTIRE TIME, ANY chance she gets?
PLEASE.

I'm not going to say I was at no fault. It was both of our faults.
Of course I'm biased and am going to say she's a b***h and I'm never dealing with her again. But she's biased too.
