.... and so much has changed. When I read my past journal entries i know that i'm so different to who i used to be. I know it sounds really corny but its true! Anyway, about this year...
Being put in the lower class for maths happened to be a god send, my rank in the year went from 79 to 32, it dropped again to 64 but i'm still happy. Our teacher was absolutely amazing.
As much as i say that last year was a really good year this year has been pretty sweet too, i've had fun and next year i think will be even better even though the work will probably double. My subjects for next year are english, maths, latin, physics and chemistry. I was going to do bio but after getting into the bio camp where i will be studying bio at a first year uni level with people a year older than i me i think that doing bio at a high school level would be crap.
Speaking of the camp, i'm so excited! I can't wait to meet everyone! But i have so much study ahead of me, i have to study nearly 300 pages out of this massive textbook and write a 5 minute speech, at least i chose an interesting topic "The reasons why Darwin's theory of evoloution and natural selection have not been accepted by the majority of the population". Okay, so its a mouthful sweatdrop but it promises to be interesting and i think i'll have fun with it, i'm a nerd, you can't expect better. sweatdrop xd
If i've learnt one thing this year its that things are never as bad as they first appear, everything happens for a reason and in the end it all works out. 3nodding
